I like the smell of fig trees on hot summer days

I like that one is closer to God’s heart in a garden
than anywhere else on earth.

I like that plants can carry you away
and make you dream, or see more clearly.

who lived in caves
who painted on rocks
and moulded goddesses from clay.

which might have happy endings, or not.
